Robert Medler joins Western Growers in Arizona role

Western Growers, Irvine, Calif., has hired Robert Medler as Arizona government affairs manager.

Western Growers, Irvine, Calif., has hired Robert Medler as Arizona government affairs manager.

Medler will represent the association in all Arizona legislative and regulatory matters and analyze and report on policy recommendations. He’ll develop and implement policy strategies and legislation affecting fresh produce and nuts in Arizona, according to a news release.

He has worked for associations that include Tucson Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Southern Arizona Chamber of Commerce in government relations, advocacy and public policy roles. Medler received a “40 Under 40” recognitions in 2019 from the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Daily Star, according to the release.

“He brings a wealth of experience advocating on behalf of employers and is looking forward to utilizing his skills to represent WG member interests in the state of Arizona,” Matthew Allen, vice president of state government affairs at Western Growers, said in the release.
