Salix Fruits names new leadership in Chile and Egypt

The Philadelphia-based importer has designated Haydy Shahin and Pascuala Vergara Sabaini as country managers, moves it says underscores its commitment to diversity and equal opportunities in top leadership.

Salix Fruits says it has made two key designations in its leadership team.

The Philadelphia-based importer has named Pascuala Vergara Sabaini as the new country manager for Chile, bringing her expertise and strategic vision to the company’s team in the region, according to a news release. Salix Fruits said her in-depth knowledge of the Chilean market and innovative approach makes her an ideal leader to oversee operations and strengthen relationships with clients and business partners.

“I am thrilled to join the Salix Fruits team and lead our operations in Chile. I look forward to contributing to the continuous growth of the company and enhancing our position in the market,” Vergara Sabaini said in the release.

As the season kicks off in Egypt, Salix Fruits has welcomed Haydy Shahin to the team as the new country manager for the region. The company said Shahin brings valuable experience in the fruit industry and that her work in the Egyptian market will be crucial in propelling its success in the region. Her strategic leadership and customer focus will be key assets as the company continues to expand its presence in the country, the release said.
