Sam Rhodes joins Alliance Retail Group in sales

Alliance Retail Group has hired Sam Rhodes as chief sales officer.

Alliance Retail Group has hired Sam Rhodes as chief sales officer.

He’s responsible for leadership of all merchandising and advertising sales for Alliance, and he will report to president Joe Wolf, affording to a news release.

Rhodes has more than 25 years of experience with the Pillsbury Co. and Coca Cola, in a number of different sales positions, according to the release. He most recently led the Associated Wholesale Grocers team for the J.M. Smucker Co.

“We are very excited to have Sam join our team to help us further our mission of improving the profitability and competitiveness of our independent retailers,” Wolf said in the release.

He will be based in Nashville, the headquarters of Alliance Retail Group.

Alliance has 960 retail members in 27 states.
