Sev-Rend hires Jensie Smith as relationship manager

Sev-Rend, Collinsville, Ill., has hired Jensie Smith as relationship manager.

Sev-Rend, Collinsville, Ill., has hired Jensie Smith as relationship manager.

She will help the company’s goal to further service clients in the produce industry with packaging and allows Sev-Rend to further expand its footprint in the fresh produce industry, according to a news release.

She has more than 20 years of experience, ranging from sales to account management and customer service. Most recently, Smith was account manager at Giro Pack USA Inc. She was also sales coordinator at Cintas.

“Jensie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Sev-Rend team that will allow us to grow in some key areas within the fresh produce packaging world,” CEO Rob Williams said in the release.

Smith said her previous position allowed her to develop relationship with produce industry companies. At Sev-Rend, she will work with accounts and retailers in the U.S. and Canada, according to the release.
