Share-ify adds VP to executive team

Christina Bongo-Box, a global quality assurance and procurement executive, will support product development, customer satisfaction and revenue growth for the cloud-based platform.

Christina Bongo-Box has joined Share-ify’s executive team as vice president of retail, restaurant, food manufacturing and academia.

Share-ify is a cloud-based network designed to help companies better integrate with their trading partners and increase functionality within their own operations and quality-assurance department. Bongo-Box will be critical to Share-ify’s initiatives designed to maximize the value of the Share-ify platform as well as the growth potential for the business, according to a news release.

Bongo-Box will serve as the subject matter expert for food safety, procurement and quality-assurance, whose main role is to assist and support customers, Share-ify said. She will apply her vast expertise and thought leadership to help define solutions for prospects and customers while defining how the Share-ify platform of solutions can help client companies, according to the release.

Share-ify’s new executive has over 30 years of experience with Fortune 500 multinational food companies, which includes 20 years in executive leadership roles developing global and domestic procurement strategies, quality assurance programs, continuous improvement and cost reductions, according to the release.

Bongo-Box most recently served as senior director of global quality assurance and commercialization at Church’s Texas Chicken, where she led the strategic direction for all quality assurance and new product commercialization globally, the release said.

She also served as vice president of North American and global procurement with Little Caesar Enterprises, as well as vice president of global quality assurance and product engineering with Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. In both roles, she honed her expertise in quality-assurance teams and processes, vendor relationship management, customer satisfaction, supply chain leadership, and commodity risk.

Bongo-Box began her career with Tyson Foods as a microbiologist managing its 70 in-house laboratories.

“Christina will add incredible dimension to our team with her background in microbiology and nearly 30 years in various segments within the food industry,” Share-fy Chief Operating Officer Angela Nardone said in the release.
