Ten Acre Marketing recently made a trio of personnel moves, including the promotion of Sara Hewitt to director of public relations.
The agency said Hewitt’s advancement is a strategic move that leverages her diverse agriculture experience, deep understanding of clients’ stories and strong relationships within the agriculture industry. Her background in agriculture checkoff and association marketing and public relations, along with her client experience, made her transition to the new role an easy choice for Ten Acre Marketing, according to a news release.
“Her dedication, strategic thinking and understanding of our vision to amplify the power of agriculture has played a key role in our client’s success,” said Leah Halverson, CEO and Founder of Ten Acre Marketing. “I am confident that she will continue to drive our public relations efforts to the next level as we continue to deliver results for our clients.”
Hewitt joined Ten Acre Marketing as an account manager just over a year ago, taking on branding and strategic marketing for clients across production agriculture. She previously served as marketing manager for North Central International and as manager of brand development, events and industry relations with Ag Management Solutions.
“I am eager to spotlight our client’s unique stories and the work they are doing to advance agriculture,” Hewitt said in the release. “Our clients are doing some amazing things in agriculture, and helping them celebrate that through strategic storytelling is icing on the cake.”
More people on the move
Ten Acre Marketing said it also added to its creative team by hiring Kevin Deval as a senior graphic designer.
Deval has over two decades of experience in the creative industry, having worked for both large-scale agencies and boutique firms, according to the release.
“I enjoy delivering innovative and impactful visual solutions that resonate with audiences and drive results,” Deval said. “I am excited to leverage my extensive background and industry insights to make a meaningful impact with Ten Acre.”
Sarah Ardentz, who previously worked as a content creation specialist for Ten Acre, has transitioned into an account coordinator role, helping meet the demands of the agency’s account management team. Ardentz will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, the release said.
Ten Acre Marketing celebrates its five-year anniversary in 2024, marking a period of strategic growth for the company. The agency said its continued commitment to advancing agriculture and delivering exceptional results for clients remains at the forefront of its mission as they strategically align their people.
