Anna O’Brien has joined Trinity Fruit Co. as social media and public relations specialist.

She brings nearly five years of experience in social media marketing to the role, in which she will lead all social media and public relations initiatives for the family-owned grower-packer-shipper of fresh, dried and frozen fruits, as well as premium refrigerated juices.

O’Brien previously specialized in influencer marketing, gaining experience across brand operations, influencer partnerships and affiliate marketing. During this time, she built strong relationships with brands such as Walmart, Target and Nordstrom, facilitating successful influencer collaborations, according to a news release.

She also worked closely with influencers across various niches, offering tailored strategies to enhance their online visibility, strengthen brand partnerships and cultivate engaged communities on social platforms, the release said.

“As Trinity Fruit Co. continues to grow, so have our marketing efforts. We were thrilled to expand our marketing department by creating this new position,” said Angela Hernandez, vice president of marketing for Trinity Fruit Co. “With the ever-evolving nature of social media, it’s invaluable to have someone with her expertise who can navigate and adapt to changing algorithms effectively.

“When building our team, I focus on both skills and cultural fit, always aiming to think outside the box,” Hernandez continued. “Hiring someone from outside the industry has been a great asset, as it brings fresh perspectives and allows us to learn from other sectors. Anna’s diverse background has already proven to be a tremendous benefit to our team. We’re incredibly excited to welcome Anna to the Trinity family.”
