The 46th Annual Agricultural Labor Relations Forum will be online.
The Florida Specialty Crop event will be on four days: Sept. 14, Sept. 15, Sept. 21 and Sept. 22.
Topics will include the H-2A agricultural labor program, the 1-9 process and sessions on essential protections and legal issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speakers at the seven sessions include:
- COVID-19 Essential Protections: Michael Marsh, president and CEO of the National Council of Agricultural Employers;
- COVID-19 Legal Issues on the Farm: Matthew Stefany, attorney at Allen, Norton & Blue, Tampa, Fla.;
- Important Practices for I-9 Compliance: Cynthia Yarbrough, attorney at Fisher & Phillips, Atlanta; and
- Government Audits — What Do I Do? David Stefany, attorney at Allen, Norton & Blue.
The fee to attend all sessions is $50.
