Ag labor forum goes online over four days

The 46th Annual Agricultural Labor Relations Forum will be online.

The 46th Annual Agricultural Labor Relations Forum will be online.

The Florida Specialty Crop event will be on four days: Sept. 14, Sept. 15, Sept. 21 and Sept. 22.

Topics will include the H-2A agricultural labor program, the 1-9 process and sessions on essential protections and legal issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speakers at the seven sessions include:

  • COVID-19 Essential Protections: Michael Marsh, president and CEO of the National Council of Agricultural Employers;
  • COVID-19 Legal Issues on the Farm: Matthew Stefany, attorney at Allen, Norton & Blue, Tampa, Fla.;
  • Important Practices for I-9 Compliance: Cynthia Yarbrough, attorney at Fisher & Phillips, Atlanta; and
  • Government Audits — What Do I Do? David Stefany, attorney at Allen, Norton & Blue.

The fee to attend all sessions is $50.
