Deadline near to apply to Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2

U.S. growers must apply to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 by Dec. 11.

U.S. growers must apply to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 by Dec. 11.

Growers must apply to CFAP 2 through their local USDA Farm Service Agency, according to a news release.

More than 230 fruit, vegetable, horticulture, and tree nut commodities are eligible for CFAP 2, along with honey, maple sap, floriculture and nursery crops. A list of CFAP 2 payments is available at the USDA program website.

Growers can find out if the crops they grow are eligible through its Eligible Commodities Finder tool, available on the USDA website . Growers can also call the USDA at 877-508-8364 if they have questions.
