Even in the dead of winter, Washington apple growers are busy preparing for the next apple season.

That includes Domex Superfresh Growers, Yakima, Wash., where horticulturalist and proprietary variety developer Dave Gleason recently filmed another orchard update about the company’s production and varieties. In the latest installment of the video series, Gleason explains how this part of the season is crucial for planning.

“Our farm team uses this time to analyze the previous harvest and discuss how we can improve for the coming crop,” according to the release.
