Hallmark movies have become a ubiquitous part of the holiday season. And to help celebrate the season, Envy apples has teamed up with actor and entrepreneur Andrew Walker, star of many Hallmark holiday movies, to offer Hallmark fans what it calls “the ultimate apple experience.”

Walker will curate some holiday recipes using Envy apples, according to a news release. Envy is a registered trademark owned by the T&G group of companies.

T&G Global says the variety also makes a guest cameo in Hallmark’s new extended cut of Walker’s hit Christmas film, “Three Wise Men and a Baby.” In the new extended cut of the film, Walker stars as Luke Brenner who, along with his two brothers Taylor and Stephan, care for a baby over the holidays and an appearance from a secret holiday ingredient — Envy apples.

Walker will join the Envy team for an in-person appearance and sampling event at Longo’s in Toronto on Dec. 11, according to the release. T&G Global says Walker will personally hand out apple samples, sign autographs and take photos with fans, and it will give out free swag to attendees.

Some of Walker’s recommended dishes include wintery Envy Baked Brie, Make-Your-Own Merry Envy Pops and Envy Apple Bliss Cups. Walker also loves to showcase the apple variety in platters, the release said.

“With my busy schedule, the holidays are when I look forward to spending quality time with my family and making the recipes we anticipate all year — especially those using my favorite holiday ingredient, Envy apples,” Walker said in the release. “Even the kids love using them to make some of their favorite holiday sweet treats! Envy apples truly make entertaining and celebrating with my loved ones super easy and delicious!”
