Florida fall sweet corn season

Sweet corn from Florida is typically available from November through July.

On Oct. 26, Florida shipped 10,000 pounds of sweet yellow corn, compared to none the same day in 2020, according to the Agricultural Marketing Service.

On Nov. 25, 2020, Florida shipped 570,000 pounds of yellow sweet corn, 210,000 pounds of white sweet corn and 620,000 pounds of bicolor sweet corn. On the same day in 2019, Florida shipped 530,000 pounds of yellow sweet corn, 130,000 pounds of white sweet corn and 780,000 pounds of bicolor sweet corn.
