The Glennville, Ga.-based company has improved its Peruvian growing operations, including expanding organic acreage, packing shed facilities, new dryers and upgraded packing equipment, said Walt Dasher, vice president.

“These changes were part of ongoing upgrades set to meet the growing demand for sweet onions year-round,” he said.

The company is also offering red onions from Peru this season.

“This is a natural supplementation to our ongoing sweet program, bringing more value to the fresh onion category during the winter months,” Dasher said.
