The 2021 Southwest Ag Summit is offering two additional dates for SWAG attendees to sign in and view breakout sessions that offer CEU opportunities.
This will be the first year ever where attendees can attend all breakout sessions and collect CEU’s for all classes. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and city and state regulations, the Southwest Agriculture Summit committee is unable to host the annual Field Demonstration and exhibitor event.
The new schedule will start with the annual Jacob Louis Daily Golf Tournament on Tuesday, February 23 at Mesa Del Sol Golf Course in Yuma, Ariz. Following the golf tournament, the virtual keynote presentation as well as the virtual breakout sessions will be held on Thursday February 25th through Zoom. Proctors in each session will take attendance for CEU purposes. All participants will need to be registered SWAG attendees. These sessions will be replayed through Zoom on Tuesday, March 2 and Wednesday, March 3rd to allow attendees to attend all sessions and collect all available CEUs. Virtual Breakout Sessions include but are not limited to: Regulatory Integrated Pest Management; Vegetable Integrated Pest Management; Forensic Agronomy; Thrips and INSV in Salinas; Water Management; Nutrient Management; Alfalfa/Weeds; Ag Mechanization; Soil Health; Applicator Training; Field Crops Agronomy/Integrated Pest Management; Ag Meteorology; and Food Safety.
