Jacobs, Malcomb & Burtt (JMB), San Ramon, Calif., has a new website as it prepares for the start of its summer asparagus program.
The site, jmb-produce.com, includes information about the company’s asparagus crop, which will grow from more than four million cases as JMB brings additional acreage this season. The summer program with asparagus from central Mexico starts soon, according to a news release.
Conventional and organic asparagus volume will increase with the new acreage, Dan Miller, production manager, said in the release.
The company also ships conventional and organic sweet corn.
The new website demonstrates JMB’s “ambitions as a company,” according to President Craig Rolandelli.
“Being a company that has been in business for over 130 years is something we are very proud of,” he said in the release. “We understand that to thrive well into the future means providing consistent, high-quality products as well as investing into technological advancements that show our customers, we are a company that is always looking to progress.”
