Reedley, Calif.-based Mountain View Fruit Sales, a family-owned group of growers, says it is preparing for the upcoming harvest of its Estate Vineyards table grapes, slated for the middle of July and available in black, red and green varieties.

Mountain View Fruit Sales expects this year’s harvest to deliver exceptional quality grapes, with maximum berry size, according to a news release.

“We are incredibly excited about this year’s grape harvest. Even though the weather this year has been favorable, we are expecting some high temperatures in the coming weeks,” said George Matoian, grower and sales representative at Mountain View Fruit Sales. “To combat this, we have increased our vine nutrition program and have reduced the crop load a second time to keep the grapes in a balanced state during this potential weather event. Executing these meticulous growing practices we are slated to produce some of the best grapes we’ve seen in years.”

The grower said it plans to distribute this year’s harvest to a wide variety of domestic and export retail markets.
