Kingsville, Ontario-based Mucci Farms will be touting its Savorries Sweet Strawberry Tomatoes at the International Fresh Produce Association’s upcoming Global Produce & Floral Show.

“Kept on-the-vine for maximum flavor and freshness, this picture-perfect variety will inspire food lovers and at-home chefs,” the company said on the IFPA show website.

The variety is resistant to Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRVF) and grown under high-tech glass, the company said. Available formats include a 12-ounce and 1.65-pound top-seal, the company said.

In other news, Mucci Farms is offering an all-new container from Netpac for its produce.

“This all-new container is made from PP Mono material using 50% less plastic with a 40% reduction in weight from standard PET,” the company said on the IFPA show website. The pack is 100% recyclable, sealable with both plastic or paper, and available in standard top-seal formats, the company said.

Mucci Farms will exhibit at booth No. 481 at the IFPA show, set for Oct. 19-21 in Anaheim, Calif.
