With citrus harvest ending from Florida in May, citrus distributor PJ Citrus, Doral, Fla., will source citrus from California, said Julyann Borges, president of the company.

The company, which Borges said markets about 4 million cartons of citrus annually, sells fresh oranges in bags for eating fresh or juicing, and also markets orange juice machines to retailers and other operators, he said.

With increased online grocery business, Borges said the company is developing new online strategies to adjust to the changing market.
