Salinas, Calif.-based Earthbound Farm says it will feature several new products at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Floral and Produce Show, Oct. 17-19 in Atlanta.

A new lineup of salad kits made with 100% organic avocado oil is now available, and the company is spotlighting the response to consumer demand for healthier alternatives and convenient, organic salad kits, according to a news release.

Earthbound Farm said it also is launching five single-serve flavors: Caesar, Chipotle Ranch, Apple Cider Crunch, Golden Balsamic, Truffle Caesar and two new full-size kit flavors: Caesar and Balsamic Crunch.

Earthbound Farm is responding to the demand for innovation in a variety of ways with new offerings such as the Limited Harvest Organic Wild Red Arugula, the release said. With vibrant red veining and a spicy, bold flavor profile, Wild Red Arugula provides a new experience for arugula lovers and organic salad consumers, said Earthbound Farm, adding that the variety is exclusive to its brand.

Earthbound Farm also is highlighting its new plant-based packaging. Made from recycled plant fibers, this eco-friendly tray ensures greens stay fresh while reducing plastic use by 95%, the release said. The company said the tray supports consumers’ eco-conscious living without compromising on freshness or convenience and is available now in two varieties: Organic Spring Mix, Organic Baby Spinach.

Earthbound Farm said it also has a new greenhouse lineup cultivated out of facilities in Louisa, Va., and South Bend, Ind. The greenhouse blends add unique flavor and crunch to the Earthbound Farm product family while farming closer to select markets, according to the release.

“The IFPA Global Produce and Floral Show provides an ideal platform to feature our latest innovations,” said Jenny Panziera, Taylor Farms’ director of product for organic salad and the Earthbound Farm brand. “We are looking forward to sharing our new flavors, packaging solutions and latest strategies to continue to make produce more accessible and appealing to a wider audience while also staying true to our commitment to quality and sustainability.”

Earthbound Farm will be sampling the following items at the booth:

• Organic Wild Red Arugula (Friday, Oct. 18) — The specialty variety brings a bold, peppery punch to salads, sandwiches, pastas, and wraps. Its vibrant red veining and robust flavor makes dishes stand out, with every leaf packed full of spicy, organic goodness, the release said.

• Organic Golden Balsamic Avocado Oil Salad Kit (Saturday, Oct. 19) — Indulge in the refreshing sweet and tangy flavors of this salad kit, where crisp romaine meets frisée and vibrant, crisp veggies, all tossed with a luscious golden balsamic avocado oil vinaigrette inspired by Earthbound Farmstand’s in house recipe.

Visit Earthbound Farm at booth No. B2861 to learn more about the brand and its products. Earthbound Farm will host a happy hour featuring wine and beer from 3-5 p.m. Oct. 18-19, the release said.
