FreshDirect is offering a limited-edition strawberries to pair with some bubbly for Valentine’s Day plans.

“Ripe strawberries that are sweet with a sour hint pair extremely well with fruity sparkling rosés, dry sparkling wines, and of course Champagne, creating a delightful fusion that is both refreshing and refined,” Nicole Hallowell, vice president of merchandising at FreshDirect, said in a news release.

FreshDirect said its curated offerings seamlessly combine the lively essence of limited-edition, fresh strawberries.

The Oishii limited-edition holiday gift box offers two types of berries suited for the holiday season, both grown in the world’s largest indoor vertical strawberry farm, the release said. The Koyo Berry (refreshingly sweet, slightly firm, subtly tart) and the Omakase Berry (delicately sweet, creamy, aromatic) are showcased in a limited-edition package that’s ripe for gifting.

Driscoll’s limited-edition Sweetest Batch strawberries are specially picked for their particularly sweet flavor, the release said.

“Show your special someone how much you care with the perfect romantic pairing of strawberries and bubbly,” Hallowell said.
