Sunset is packing its first winter crop of bright red-and-yellow striped Ahola peppers.

“We’re all about celebrating fresh flavor year-round, and Aloha’s bold color adds the perfect flair to seasonal displays,” Paul Mastronardi, president and CEO of Mastronardi Produce, which ships greenhouse produce under the Sunset brand, said in a news release. “Let the Freshtivities begin!”

The Sunset Aloha peppers received the Best New Vegetable Produce award at the United Fresh Produce Association’s Innovations Awards at the FreshMKT expo in June in Chicago.

The peppers are available in 12x2-count and 11-pound bulk cases, according to the release.
