Bland Farms plans ‘Gameday’ promotion

The company’s Gameday Sweetness-Winning Recipe premium sweet onion promotion featuring in-store bins, point-of-sale material and an in-store contest for retailers will kick off in mid-October.

Glennville, Ga.-based Bland Farms LLC has a busy fall planned, said CEO Troy Bland.

The company’s Gameday Sweetness-Winning Recipe premium sweet onion promotion featuring in-store bins, point-of-sale material and an in-store contest for retailers will kick off in mid-October and continue through the Peruvian onion season.

Consumers will be able to scan a QR code to see newly developed recipes from Bland Farms.

The company’s annual Go Pink promotion will support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and feature pink packaging during October.

And Bland Farms is in its second year selling Georgia- and North Carolina-grown sweet potatoes through its Sand Candy Produce LLC partnership with Battleboro Produce, Boyette Brothers Produce LLC and Sandyland Produce.
