Salinas, Calif.-based Earthbound Farm has introduced three new organic salad kits, each featuring dressings crafted with 100% organic avocado oil.
As consumers seek healthier alternatives for their salad dressings — including non-seed oils — avocado oil is continuing to increase in popularity with use in a range of consumer products, says Earthbound Farm, pointing to a Healthline article that says avocado oil is rich in antioxidants and nutrients that offer benefits such as reducing cholesterol levels, enhancing nutrient absorption, supporting heart health and promoting eye health.
Additional research from an IFIC Spotlight Survey on Seed Oils found that when consumers were presented with a range of fats and oils, 67% of those surveyed selected avocado oil in their top three for healthiest type of oil, with nearly 40% ranking it the healthiest, says Earthbound Farm.
Earthbound Farm’s organic salad kits not only incorporate organic avocado oil but also showcase a diverse array of fresh ingredients, including crisp greens, vibrant vegetables and indulgent toppings, according to a release. Earthbound says each kit is ideal for busy individuals and families seeking convenient solutions that balance flavor, crunch and nutrition.

The three new full-size organic salad kits with avocado oil dressings include:
- Earthbound Farm Balsamic Crunch Salad Kit — This Mediterranean-inspired salad includes a colorful, nutrient-dense chopped salad blend of fresh romaine, frisée, broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage and carrots along with crumbled feta cheese, seasoned flatbread strips and a golden balsamic dressing made with 100% organic avocado oil.
- Earthbound Farm Lemon Arugula Salad Kit — A combination of baby arugula and tender leafy greens, this salad kit includes crunchy diced almonds, shredded Parmesan cheese and a lemon herb vinaigrette dressing made with 100% organic avocado oil.
- Earthbound Caesar Salad Kit — This salad kit features romaine lettuce, crunchy garlic Romano croutons, shredded Parmesan cheese and a creamy Caesar dressing made with 100% organic avocado oil.
Earthbound Farm says the new salad kits are now available for national distribution.
