Sub sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s has taken part in the Mushroom Council’s “Mushroom Monday” campaign and will celebrate Earth Day by promoting its “earth-friendly” No. 64 Grilled Portabella Mushroom and Swiss Sub.

The Mushroom Council launched “Mushroom Monday” in the first quarter of 2024, with efforts first centering around foodservice. The effort is intended to amplify what restaurants and professional chefs are doing with mushrooms.
