Prices for yellow-flesh nectarines around the nation ranges from 99 cents to $2.99 per pound on July 14, according to U.S. Marketing Services. Each week the firm looks at prices for a particular commodity at four retailers in eight major cities across the U.S.

On July 14, prices averaged $2.26 per pound, with the fruit on ad at eight of the 30 stores surveyed, according to the firm.
