Salad ingredient promoters come together with I Heart Salad

Fresh Express, NatureSweet and Litehouse — three companies representing salad ingredients — are joining for a retail promotion to highlight how consumers can combine them for salad creations.

Fresh Express, NatureSweet and Litehouse — three companies representing salad ingredients — are joining for a retail promotion to highlight how consumers can combine them for salad creations.

“I Heart Salad,” a promotion exclusively at Albertsons and its banners, runs Feb. 27-March 12. In-store discounts, promotional pricing, recipe videos, an online sweepstakes and more are planned, according to a news release.

Fresh Express Blends, NatureSweet 10.5-ounce Cherubs tomatoes and Litehouse 13-ounce spoonable dressing will be discounted at Albertsons nationwide.

According to the release, supporting initiatives include:

  • Albertsons in-storage signage and weekly print ad support;
  • Online recipes/videos highlighting product versatility; and
  • Integrated social media campaign and consumer sweepstakes (With 15 winners receive a year’s worth of salad).
