Nominations for excellence in sustainability marketing are being accepted for The Best of SPS Marketing Awards through May 10, 2024. Winners will be announced live at the 2024 Sustainable Produce Summit.

The Best of SPS Marketing Awards are now accepting nominations for excellence in sustainability marketing in the following categories: Website marketing; Packaging; Social media marketing; Retail promotions; and Business-to-Consumer messaging.

Nominations for the 2024 awards will be accepted through May 10, 2024, and winners will be announced live at the 2024 Sustainable Produce Summit in May.

Please note: These awards are for excellence in marketing communications about sustainability efforts via the channels indicated in each award category.

Nominations are reviewed and winners are selected by a cross-functional team at Farm Journal and The Packer, including marketing, editorial and sales team members. Judging will be based on:

  • Quality — graphics, organization, presentation.
  • Creativity — new ideas, unique delivery, is marketing/promotion memorable?
  • Clarity — messaging, description of benefits to audience.
  • Strategy — audience selection, delivery, how marketing/promotion advances your business goals, specifically regarding sustainability.
  • Response — quality/quantity of audience response to marketing/promotion.
