Logistics company Cruisin’ On Inc., which does business as The Produce Network and Diamond Produce Wholesalers & Packers Inc., faces a Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act complaint for unpaid shipments.
The Miami-based company allegedly failed to pay $1.19 million to five produce sellers for shipments received from May 2016 through September 2017, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture news release.
Cruisin’ On can request a hearing; if the USDA finds it violated the PACA, it would be barred from being a licensee for three years, or two years with a USDA-approved surety bond.
Principals would also be unable to be employed by or affiliated with PACA licensees for two years, or one year with a surety bond, according to the release.
