Brian Rayfield joins PennRose Farms as president

Brian Rayfield, a longtime Southeast produce executive, is the new president at Wimauma, Fla.-based PennRose Farms.

He will lead the day-to-day operations of the PennRose Farms, with a focus on expanding the supply chain and the company’s Customer First Strategy, according to a news release.

Rayfield, who was with J&J Family of Farms for more than 26 years, most recently as vice president of business development. He has worked in business development for Borders Melons East LLC for a year.

“We feel that Brian’s experience, focus and energy is an excellent fit for our culture as a family business and we look forward to partnering with him as we move forward in the next phase of our growth,” Chuck Ciruli, CEO of PennRose Farms, said in the release.

Rayfield will be at the PennRose Farms booth, No. 312, at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure, Feb. 27-29 in Tampa, Fla.
