Total Quality Logistics, Cincinnati, is asking for help in supporting members of the military in its Military Appreciation Month campaign.

“For weeks, the U.S. Military has found itself on the frontlines facing a new enemy: COVID-19,” according to a TQL news release. “They have been charged with protecting the health and safety of fellow soldiers, civilians and families, and providing support to any FEMA-led national COVID-19 response.”

People can help support the military and family members by:

  • Sending a Thank a Soldier Care Package: Through May 21, the public can build a care package online through TQL, which will ship it to a soldier;
  • Sending a Virtual Tribute Ribbon: Through May 31, people can download a virtual ribbon and post it on social media using #TQLMilitaryMonth; and
  • Contributing through TQL’s Hauls for Heroes program: For every load booked between May 11-17, TQL will donate to the Disabled American Veterans and the United Service Organizations.

“Each May at TQL we make a month-long effort to honor and thank those who have made and are making such great sacrifices to ensure our freedom,” President Kerry Byrne said in the release. “This year we know that along with healthcare workers, truckers and many others, the military is also on the frontlines in our battle against COVID-19.”
