Western Association of Food Chains appoints board members

The Western Association of Food Chains, Lakewood, Calif., appointed new officers and board members.

The new board was appointed during the group’s executive committee meeting on May 2, according to a news release.
New officers are:

  • Greg McNiff, president of Stater Bros. Markets, president and chairman;
  • Scott Drew, executive vice president of Smart & Final Stores, vice president;
  • Pat Posey, vice president of non-perishables, procurement and merchandising for Bristol Farms, treasurer;
  • Paul Giannetto, senior vice president of sales and merchandising for Raleys, secretary; and 

Sarah Wehling, senior vice president of Costco Wholesale, WAFC advisory chairwoman.
The board’s advisory members are:

  • Mike Stigers, Cub Foods/UNFI;
  • Kevin Curry, Albertsons/Vons/Pavilions; 
  • Bryan Kaltenbach, Food4Less/Foods Co.;
  • Donna Tyndall – Gelson’s

Board members are:
