Baloian Farms completes expansion of Fresno, Calif., facility
Baloian Farms has completed an expansion project in Fresno, Calif., adding storage capacity and outbound loading efficiencies.
The facility adds dock space, doubling the number of loading bay doors, and increased parking space for semi tractor-trailers, according to a news release.
“We are thrilled for the opportunity to grow with our customers, and this facility expansion is just one phase of many that incorporates many years of planning and strategy,” Jeremy Lane, sales manager for Baloian Farms, said in the release. “Our long-term growth strategy includes year-round production of peppers, squash, eggplant, and chile peppers for distribution within the United States, Canada, and Mexico.”
The company has added yams, chili peppers and cucumbers to its product line this season.
“The expansion of our Fresno location is an important investment in customer service, and we are contributing to the sustainability of our regional growers and business partners, both from a farming standpoint, and also from our business model that accommodates for the changing needs of our customers,” CEO Timothy Baloian said in the release.
