iTrade Network on PMA experience, traceability, data software

Staff from Dublin, Calif.-based iTrade Network, a supply-chain solution software company, spoke to Produce Marketing Association's virtual Fresh Summit 2020 attendees about their services that can help with end-to-end traceability and making their business run more efficiently.

“We’re really about helping you get the software solutions that you need to make your business more profitable and also work more efficiently,” Alexandra van Alebeek, associate product marketing manager, said.

There are data insights for everyone in the supply chain, from the farm to the consumer with scannable Produce Traceability Initiative labels on individual items, said Wyatt Robertson, also an associate product marketing manager.

At Fresh Summit, they’re finding a lot of interest in the company’s smaller version of order-management solutions, called iTrade Order.

“It’s really connecting a lot of people who are in that mid-market tier of retailers. It’s just allowing them to find a lot of new suppliers so that they can really optimize their pricing. They can grow their margins and connect a lot more closely with those suppliers that might be much more local, maybe non-GMO,” Robertson said.

The company’s spend-analytics platform was also drawing interest. It automates the collection and standardization of unit-level invoice data, allowing distributors to see where unit-level products are going and how it’s being used.

The solutions are available with mobile and offline capabilities, and there’s also automated fresh inspection.
