HPGen awarded Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label

(HPNow)

HPNow’s patented HPGen solution for the on-site generation of hydrogen peroxide has received the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label, according to a news release.

HPGen is the world’s first and only on-site hydrogen-peroxide generation solution, according to the release.

HPGen was attributed the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label following an assessment performed by external independent experts and based on verified standards, according to the release.

The global annual output of over 6.5 million tons of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is produced in centralized chemical production plants, emitting greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of over 3 million cars.

HPNow offers a comprehensive line of on-site H2O2 generation solutions, based on its proprietary direct electrochemical synthesis technology, and requiring only water, electricity and air to operate. The HPGen technology is highly scalable and designed to meet demands ranging from 1 kilogram per day to 100 kilograms per day and more, according to the release.

Applications include irrigation water treatment, to industrial and municipal waste and drinking water treatment, according to the release.
