Mann Packing goes red for women’s health

Salinas, Calif.-based Mann Packing will sponsor the annual Central Coast Go Red For Women Luncheon as part of its continuing support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.

The luncheon is Feb. 16 at the Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, Calif., according to a news release.

“Mann’s and the American Heart Association both share a deep commitment to making an impact in our communities and we couldn’t be more proud to continue our partnership to fight against heart disease in women,” Gina Nucci, director of corporate marketing for Mann’s, said in the release. 

“Our support of Go Red will help fund research and education that will save lives; so we are very much looking forward to continuing our support of this tremendous cause.”

Mann also plans to participate in the heart association’s Heart & Stroke Walk in October, according to the release.

The company’s employees celebrated National Wear Red Day Feb. 2 at the company’s headquarters, according to the release.
