PMA sets agenda for Fresh Connections Brazil
The Produce Marketing Association is accepting registrations for the fifth-annual Fresh Connections in Brazil.
The event is slated for São Paulo on Aug. 22, according to a news release, and will offer networking opportunities, education sessions, and an expo.
PMA CEO Cathy Burns will deliver the event’s opening presentation on the topic of “State of the Global Fresh Produce Industry and the Implications for Brazil,” according to the release.

The event is expected to draw Brazilian growers, exporters, retailers and service providers, according to the release. At least 45 exhibitors will participate in the expo.
“The is the second year we are holding an expo in conjunction with our Fresh Connections: Brazil conference, and we are looking forward to growing the event this year,” Luiz Claudio Haas, chairman of PMA’s Brazil Country Council, said in the release. “We invite fresh produce buyers and suppliers looking to connect to join us for networking, education, and to hear from PMA CEO Cathy Burns who has extensive experience in the supermarket retail industry.”
