The f.o.b. market for avocados is finding a level.

It has been quite a ride for the past few months, but hass avocados are very promotion friendly right now.

From Pro*Act’s Source report:

“The market is stable this week. Field prices continue to trend downward as we are seeing good inventory levels. Mexico continues to ramp up the harvest on new crop fruit and seeing some checkerboarding. The size curve is leaning heavily to 60’s and smaller. Chilean fruit has arrived in small numbers. Chile will hit peak season this month and available through December.”
