Here is a quick look at U.S. exports and imports of fruits and nuts over the last ten years.

On the export side of the balance of trade, nuts and nut products have shown huge growth while the overall fresh fruit performance is mostly steady.

For imports, the increases have been more definite for both fruits and vegetables, with avocados rising fast.
