At the most basic level, we are all ready to travel and attend in-person industry events.

But is the country ready?

Are event organizers ready?

Are employers ready to free their staff to get on airplanes?

Is the vaccine ready?

I asked members of the LinkedIn Fresh Produce Industry Discussion Group this question yesterday:

When will you, and your employer, be ready for you to attend an in-person industry event?

TK: Recent news seems to indicate that COVID case numbers are starting to fall, and soon-coming industry events like Viva Fresh are investing a lot of time and resources on safety measures.

Vaccine distribution to the general population may have the biggest say on how quickly we all get those glorious boarding passes and convention badges once again.
