The annual event typically draws more than 100 people, from growers, brokers and shippers to marketers, wholesalers and retailers.
The New Jersey Department of Agriculture hosted the Eastern Produce Council’s Annual BBQ May 23, at Demarest Farm in Hillsdale, N.J., celebrating a leader’s retirement, a scholarship winner and sharing crop updates.
All EPC leadership class participants going back to the program’s inception in 2018 were also honored during the 2024 event.
