The Packer has a new video series — Millennials Eat.
You might remember the recent column by editor Greg Johnson on the produce age gap, which is the trend of millennials shopping at grocery stores and buying numerous produce items at noticeably lower rates than older generations.
Johnson describes this trend as an opportunity for growth, and the goal of this new series is to encourage that growth.
In Millennial Eats videos, staff writer Ashley Nickle and copy editor and designer Amelia Freidline will aim to bridge various produce age gaps by providing insight on where those gaps exist, what some of the barriers to millennials consumption might be, and how those barriers can be knocked down.
The first video in the series is introductory in nature, and the next video will focus on radishes, which Amelia's family has been growing in their garden this spring.
