Bloom season is now in central Washington, and Yakima, Wash.-based Domex Superfresh Growers has a new update from cherry orchards.

In a new video Orchard Update, Dave Gleason, horticulturist and proprietary variety developer for Superfresh Growers, reports on conditions for cherry pollination and also reflects on the work needed to tend a crop during COVID-19, according to a news release.

“We are excited to be a part of the American agriculture engine,” Gleason said in the video. “We are considered a strategic industry, so during this difficult time while we are fighting the COVID-19 virus, we are continuing to do our jobs and go out every day to produce food for the United States, and the world.”
