(Updated: 12:17 p.m) After a successful debut in 2018, Nogales, Ariz.-based EarthBlend LLC has begun its second season shipping squash, cucumbers, green bell peppers and hot peppers, said Steve Spence, director of sales. The company will add elongated red bell peppers in December.

Spence, who spent 10 years with Rio Rico, Ariz.-based Farmer’s Best International LLC before moving to EarthBlend, said business should be up about 40% this year for the company, which is a partnership between Mexican grower Agrocir and Nogales-based Sierra Seed Co. LLLP.

The company will ship until late May or early June, depending on weather, he said.
