The Idaho Potato Commission has redesigned its website, www.idahopotato.com, with mobile-friendly formats, scroll features, modified layouts and a load-on-demand feature.

“Nearly 63% of visitors to the website are visiting from their mobile devices,” Frank Muir, president and CEO of the Eagle, Idaho-based commission, said in the release. “This is a significant increase over the last few years. Our goal is to provide a user-friendly experience across all devices and our new website design does just that.”

The website received 2 million views in the past 12 months, according to the release.

Along with shorter load times and improved navigation, the new format highlights the site’s most visited pages. Those pages include Idaho potato recipes, Dr. Potato, consumer newsletters and vlogger recipe videos, according to the release.

“We believe these new updates will greatly enhance our visitors’ experience on the site, encourage them to visit regularly and continue to keep them excited about Idaho potatoes,” Muir said in the release.
