PSSI, a contract sanitation provider, has a new logo and brand messaging to promote its focus on protecting food throughout the supply chain.

The logo features a shield brand mark and incorporates checkmarks, representing a seal of approval that all work is double-checked, according to a news release from the Kieler, Wis.-based company.

“The processing industry is in a critical position facing widespread challenges related to

recalls, outbreaks and regulatory compliance,” Dan Taft, president and CEO of PSSI, said in the release. “Building on our 30 years’ experience, we see a unique opportunity to elevate the value of our brand and deepen our relationships with our partners to help lead the next

generation of food safety.”

The branding includes the phrase “You perfect it, we protect it.”

“We believe the improvement and advancement of food safety is about having the right people with right science-based expertise to manage a more proactive, comprehensive approach to ensure consistency.”

The company also has redesigned its website, https://www.pssi.com/.

PSSI is exhibiting at the International Production and Processing Expo, Feb. 12-14, in Atlanta, at booth No. 6951. Jake Watts, vice president of food safety, will present a TECH Talks session, “The Next Generation of Food Safety Starts with the Right Sanitary Design,” on Feb. 14.
