Defense contract award to Ohio firm

Columbus, Ohio-based DNO Inc. has been awarded a three-year, $48 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency for delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Columbus, Ohio-based DNO Inc. has been awarded a three-year, $48 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency for delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables.

The contract was competitive, with three other companies submitting bids, according to a news release.

The contract, which will be completed Jan. 21, 2023, calls for delivery of fruits and vegetables to schools in Michigan and Ohio that are supplied by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, according to the release.
