Federal supply contracts have been awarded to produce firms in Texas and New Jersey.

Federal supply contracts have been awarded to produce firms in Texas and New Jersey.

Brothers Produce Inc., Houston, Texas, was awarded a maximum $202.5 million contract to sell fresh fruits and vegetables to Texas schools that are supplied by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The 60-month contract with the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support ends Nov. 3, 2024.

Frank Gargiulo & Son Inc., Hillside, N.J., also was awarded a maximum $16.48 million contract for fresh produce to schools in New Jersey and New York who are supplied commodities by the USDA.

The 54-month contract with the Defense Logistics Agency ends May 3, 2024.
