Ippolito hires Jon Stewart to move into foodservice

Ippolito Fruit and Produce, Burlington, Ontario, is moving into foodservice with the hiring of Jon Stewart as director of sales — foodservice.

Ippolito Fruit and Produce, Burlington, Ontario, is moving into foodservice with the hiring of Jon Stewart as director of sales — foodservice.

He has more than 15 years of experience in foodservice sales, including the managed service sector and the cheese industry, according to a news release. Most recently, he was a foodservice manager at French’s Food Co.

In the newly created role at Ippolito, Stewart is responsible for leading the company and Queen Victoria brand into foodservice channel.

“We are excited to have Jon come on board to help diversify our customer base and lead us into a new market,” chief operating officer Steve Dimen said in the release. “Jon’s experiences to date have been impressive and he will have our full support to be successful in this position.”
