September’s California Food Expo releases agenda

The 2019 California Food Expo agenda is now available, featuring retail and foodservice trends, transparency and sustainability, navigating the digital space and food brand pioneers.

The 2019 California Food Expo agenda is now available, featuring retail and foodservice trends, transparency and sustainability, navigating the digital space and food brand pioneers.

More than 150 California food and beverage companies are expected to participate in the Sept. 9-10 event in Fresno, Calif., which includes educational sessions, a tradeshow and a competition for California renowned chefs.

The brand pioneer featured speaker will be Martin Kruger, CEO of Follow Your Heart, the manufacturer of Vegenaise, dairy-free cheeses, yogurt, salad dressings and VeganEgg.

“Supermarket Guru” Phil Lempert, President and CEO for Consumer Insight Inc. will moderate a session about how retailers and brands can capture the changing consumer.

Broadcaster, author and Food Network personality Simon Majumdar will lead a chef’s competition.
