Frieda’s launches well-being program
Frieda’s Specialty Produce used a well-being program called Frieda’s Wellness Week to encourage employees to stay healthy.
Frieda’s Wellness Week included two days of stretching and nutrition workshops, a day of massages and a day for employees to have access to a healthy taco bar, according to a news release. The workshops educated employees on warm-ups, stretches and ways to take productive breaks during the workday.
“I know Frieda’s cares about me as a person and giving me the chance to learn more about wellness as a whole helps me be the best version of myself,” Megan Klemz, account manager at Frieda’s, said in the release. “Wellness Week was just the kick start I needed to begin incorporating more active time into my home and work life.”
